Monthly meetings:

 

Fourth Monday of each month:

 

Our group meets on the fourth Monday of each month from 7:30 – 9:00 pm in the back of the Old Firehouse Books store on 232 Walnut Street, Fort Collins.  Bring your recorders or viols and join us for a delightful evening reading through music provided by our chapter leader Jim Martin.

Second Friday of each month:

 

You’re welcome to play recorders with us at our ‘Second Friday’ evenings.  We get together at homes of members and play from 7:30 – 9:00 pm.   Music is provided by the host.  Information about the location can be obtained by emailing from Cindy Henk (henkmc@lsu.edu)  or Cathy Emptage (cnm@frii.com).

Playing in small groups:

 

Several recorder players have formed small groups exploring a wide variety of the recorder repertoire.

 

 

Colorado Recorder Orchestra:

 

This recorder orchestra, under the direction of Rose Marie Terada, has about 25 members and performs typ ically twice per year at various locations in the Denver Boulder, Fort Collins and Colorado Springs area.  In late fall of 2006 the orchestra toured Japan for two weeks.  Several members of the ARS Fort Collins Chapter are playing in the Colorado Recorder Orchestra.
