As of 11/27/08 - the fire is contained and all resources but a couple of Forest Service crews have been demob'd off the fire.  The fire is contained and in mop up stage after a good couple of days.  Thanks to all who helped and to the other agencies that jumped in with us on this fire.

Our Fire Department receives no tax revenues and operates entirely on  proceeds from our Mountain and Art Auctions, donations from the public, and the occasional grant. Our services are available to not only the residents of our community but to visitors and neighboring communities as well.
