MISSION STATEMENT

Northern Colorado Interior Design Guild is a non-profit organization comprised of Interior Designers. Their mission is to promote, encourage and support the profession of Interior Design in Northern Colorado. The goal of their meetings is to share professional work experiences and projects with group members, and present programs with educational focus.

MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS

Professional Membership
1. Degree in the field with three years (or equivalent) full time work experience, OR five years (or equivalent) full time work experience. College transcript and references of work experience required.*,**
2. Favorable interview by the membership selection committee. Interview to cover the following:
  1. Portfolio presentation
  2. Business practices, operation procedures
  3. Design philosophy
  4. Commitment to IDG projects (promotional and philanthropic)
3. Payment of one-time entrance fee of $100, annual dues of $75 and any voted assessments.
Associate Membership
1. Degree in the field and currently working in the design industry. *,**
2. Favorable interview by the membership selection committee. Criteria the same as for a Professional Membership.
3. Payment of a one-time entrance fee of $100, annual dues of $50 and voted assessments.
4. Waives the right to vote.

*Full time work-30 plus hours per week
**Work experience may be waived if applicant has qualified for and passed the NCIDQ exam.
