The
Larimer Chorale welcomes Dr. Keith Hampton, internationally known
gospel music composer arranger and clinician, and Ms. Bennie L.
Williams, Artistic Director of The Spirituals Project Choir of Denver,
for a two-day workshop on African-American choral music traditions,
focusing on gospel music and spirituals. The workshop will
culminate
in an incredibly uplifting concert that will feature the Chorale and a
massed choir of more than 200 voices singing spirituals and gospel
music with a full rhythm section. Be prepared to clap your hands
and
tap your feet!

original "Pulling Out All the Stops" concert was such a success a few
years ago that we wanted to do it again ... only bigger and
better.
Dr. Joel Bacon will again collaborate with the Larimer Chorale on First
Presbyterian's powerful Reuter pipe organ (53 ranks, 3 manuals) in a
concert of grand music for chorus and organ. Dr. Bacon holds the
Stewart and Sheron Golden Chair in Organ and Liturgical Studies at
CSU. He has been heard in recital in Germany, Austria, France,
Switzerland and Canada, and his live performances have been broadcast
on Austrian Radio and Public Radio International.

Larimer
Chamber Chorale is an auditioned subset of the larger Chorale, just the
