Welcome to the homepage of YOR! The Youth Orchestras of the Rockies are proud to have three ensembles: the Symphony Orchestra, the Concert Orchestra, and the Overture Ensemble.

5.6.2012 - Season Finale today! Please join us at 3 p.m. at CSU's Griffin Hall for what promises to be a great performance. Musicians, be there and ready to play at 2 p.m. (except for percussion - be there at 1:20 outside of the IRH to help haul instruments). Today's concert is free and open to the public - donations gratefully accepted!

4.30.2012 - Congratulations to the YOR Symphony Orchestra for a great concert in Greeley on Sunday! We hope to see you for the Concert Orchestra and combined SO-CO Chamber Group concert on Saturday 5/5 at 3 p.m. at Ridgeview Classical Schools and at our final concert of the season on 5/6 at 3 p.m. in the Griffin Hall at the University Center for the Arts! The Symphony Orchestra will be joined by the Concert Orchestra for a great program. Both of these concerts are free and open to the public - spread the word!!

Congratulations to YOR violist Miranda Brugman who will be studying Italian language and Opera singing with the Bel Canto Institute in Florence, Italy for four weeks this summer. Faculty this summer come from the NY Metropolitan Opera, the New England Conservatory of Music, the Washington Opera, Boston University, and the Danish National Opera. Way to go, Miranda!
