Local Photos for the FortNet Home Page

Fort Collins and Larimer County citizens and organizations are invited to submit a local photo for display on the FortNet home page. The photos rotate approximately every month then retire to the FortNet Photo Gallery. The photos should represent timely snapshots of our community and environment. Submit your image as an e-mail attachment to photo@fortnet.org.

Images must meet these minimum requirements for consideration Title/caption Photographer name (or request to be anonymous) GIF or JPEG format GIF images must be interlaced Maximum size=300x250 pixels, 40K The right for FortNet to use the image on its web site home page and photo gallery, and printed publications such as, but not limited to, free class handouts and paid-for FortNet community directories. Community Organizations are encouraged to use this opportunity to publicize their upcoming events. For example, the Northern Colorado Intertribal Pow-wow Association promoted their 6th Annual Spring Contest Pow-wow for two weeks prior to April 18-19, 1998 with a photo of Karla T. Iron, their 1994-96 NCIPA Princess and Miss Indian Colorado XII - 1997-98. The title or caption for the photo included a link to their web site. This is a great way for local agencies and clubs to freely promote their special events.
