Programming for our 23rd Season
2007 - 2008

Season Opener: Words and Music
September 16, 2007 • Sunday at 7 p.m.
For our new season’s first concert we present a rare performance of Façade, William Walton’s youthful words-and-music cycle. These witty and fantastical settings of poems by Edith Sitwell, first performed in London in 1922, feature a jazz ensemble joined by Karen Lauer Anderson and John Lueck. In addition, special guests Jim Heaton and the Mark Sloniker Jazz Trio return with their own unique words-and-music show.
