ABWA Mission
The mission of the American Business Women's Association is to bring together business women of diverse occupations and to provide opportunities for them to help themselves and others grow personally and professionally through leadership, education, networking support and national recognition.
Business training and education have long been issues for America's working women. Seeing a need, Hilary A. Bufton, Jr., a Kansas City, Missouri businessman, founded the American Business Women's Association on September 22,1949. Today the organization remains dedicated to Women's education and has provided workplace skill and career development training for more than 500,000 members across the country.
Our Chapter Mission
To provide opportunities for Fort Collins business women to work together as friends, helping one another grow personally and professionally, assisting women in the community to pursue a college education and helping make our community a better place in which to live and work.
The success and progress made by working women today have a direct impact on the lives and careers of women in the future. Choice City Charter Chapter of ABWA is one of the many chapters dedicated to personal growth, education and friendship. We feel that if one is to be successful, it is important to have strength in all three of these areas.
Scholarship Program
ABWA's local and national scholarship programs annually award more than $3 million to college women and men.
Please Join Us!
We offer you the opportunity to develop new skills, learn to lead, continue your education, network with other business women and build a support group.
